Mümine Özdemirağ Yağlı
Mümine Özdemirağ Yağlı was born in Nicosia in 1976. After completing her primary and secondary education there, she went to İzmir in 1993 to study ceramics. In 1998, she graduated from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Ceramics(Ankara-Turkey). Between 1998-2003, she gave ceramic hobby lessons, opened exhibitions and produced many artistic urban ceramics in her workshop in Marmaris, Muğla(Turkey). In 2003, she started her master’s degree at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University and completed her education at the Near East University. She is currently a PhD candidate in Near East University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Art and Design(N.Cyprus). Since 2009, she has been continuing her artistic ceramic works in her studio in Çatalköy. Since 2017, she has been working as a full-time lecturer at the Faculty of Art, Ceramic Department of Arkin University of Creative Arts and Design(Kyrenia-Cyprus).
Özdemirağ Yağlı participated in various national and international exhibitions, symposiums, workshops and biennials and she has ceramics in various national and international collections and museums.
