Toula Mala

My name is Toula Mala. Born in 1949 in Limassol, Cyprus. I studied art in Greece 1979 – 1984 and continued studying in Cyprus for several years.

I am devoted to art. I started drawing and painting professionally and exhibiting solo shows in Limassol and Nicocia, galleries from years 1983  – 1990.

From year 1990 – 2017 I worked drawing, pastels, oil painting and ceramic sculptures. My subject was expressionistic. Everything was done to show emotions that were sensual, negative, aggressive and denouncing the social standard of beauty.

Since 2017 I abandoned the perception of expressionistic approach and working now on projects that are dealing with nature, light and figures.

Also, I am honored to have paintings and ceramic Sculptures in the Nicosia Art Museum.

I exhibited solo shows in Cyprus, London and Egypt. I have also joined many “Group exhibitions” and also all exhibitions of Artist Association.

I am honored to have paintings and ceramic Sculptures in the Nicosia Art Museum.  My clients are Art Collectors and many create collections of my artworks.

I have my private gallery and workshop in Limassol.
